Ensuring completion of two traffic routes linking Long Thanh Airport by late June 2026

On April 21, Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut conducted a field inspection and working session with local authorities on the progress of land clearance and construction for Provincial Roads 25B and 25C.

The working delegation also included Major General Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police.

At the construction sites, representatives of the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board reported that for the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 25B (from Nhon Trach commune center to National Highway 51), about 70% of the site has been handed over, while construction progress has reached approximately 50%. The board called on stronger engagement from local authorities to accelerate site clearance and complete handover of the remaining areas to ensure the project is finished by the end of June 2026. It is also considering adding subcontractors to speed up construction.

For Provincial Road 25C (from National Highway 51 to Backroad 19), site handover has reached 95% of the total area. Authorities and units are working to resolve issues involving the remaining seven households yet to hand over land. The Project Management Board has been committed to completing construction by the end of June 2026.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut stressed that Roads 25B and 25C are key infrastructure projects to enhance connectivity to Long Thanh International Airport. Dong Nai has committed to the Government to complete both projects by the end of June 2026, and all units must make every effort to meet this deadline.

While acknowledging the efforts made by local authorities in site clearance, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut urged them to “make even greater effort” to complete  compensation and site clearance, and fully hand over project sites within April 2026.

For the Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the unit was asked to urge contractors to accelerate construction progress; and at the same time ensure the quality of the work. “Speed must not come at the expense of quality. Do not compromise on construction standards for the sake of progress," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut requested.
