On the afternoon of April 23, the Dong Nai Logistics Association held its 2026 meeting with businesses and members. The program was attended by representatives of departments and agencies, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Ho Chi Minh City branch, and industry experts and businesses.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Tran Duong Hung said Dong Nai is currently one of the localities with a large-scale economy, supported by a well-developed industrial system that generates a very large and diverse logistics demand. The province also has a transportation infrastructure system, including major projects such as expressways, airports, and seaports. This feature creates opportunities for the development of the transportation and logistics sector. The road transport system currently has 439 businesses and nearly 40,000 vehicles with more than 4,300 container tractors.

To help develop and tap the industry’s potential, the Dong Nai Logistics Association needs to continue improving its organizational structure, establish sub-associations by sector group in the field to provide specialized advice, and facilitate connections with infrastructure businesses and state management agencies. Dong Nai is committed to supporting the association and the business community in developing the logistics industry in a modern, sustainable direction.

At the conference, businesses in the industry, together with representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Ho Chi Minh City branch, the Dong Nai Business Federation, the Dong Nai Logistics Association, and experts exchanged views and discussed the current realities of the logistics sector. This endeavor was especially relevant in the context of logistics being heavily affected by adverse impacts from global geopolitical fluctuations. On this occasion, the Dong Nai Logistics Association admitted 9 new members, gradually expanding the scale and network of businesses under the association.
