On April 23, Long Duc 3 Industrial Park (IP) JSC, under Japan’s Sojitz Corporation, held the construction commencement ceremony for Long Duc 3 IP.
Attending the event were Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC); Duong Minh Dung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization; Nguyen Thi Hoang, Member of the PPC and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Furudate Seiki, Deputy Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, along with leaders of provincial departments, agencies and sectors, as well as representatives of Sojitz Corporation.

The Long Duc 3 IP project is located in Binh An and Long Thanh communes, covering a total area of 244 hectares with an investment capital of approximately VND1.8 trillion. It is a modern and fully integrated industrial park infrastructure project that has already received in-principle approval from the Prime Minister. Key legal procedures, including subdivision planning, investment registration certification, and environmental impact assessment approval, have also been completed, ensuring compliance with legal requirements for implementation.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Hoang described the construction commencement ceremony of Long Duc 3 IP as a significant milestone, marking a new phase in the province’s efforts to complete industrial infrastructure, enhance investment-attracting capacity, and promote socio-economic development in Dong Nai.
She also expressed appreciation for Long Duc 3 IP JSC and its international partners for choosing Dong Nai as a strategic investment destination, while acknowledging their close and professional cooperation throughout the project preparation process.

Long Duc 3 IP is strategically located within one of the province’s key development zones, directly connected to major national transport infrastructure systems, particularly Long Thanh International Airport, a project of strategic importance to the Southeast region and the country as a whole. With these advantages, Dong Nai identifies Long Duc 3 as a key driver of modern production, logistics, and supporting industries, thereby strengthening the province’s position in global supply chains.
The Vice Chairwoman emphasized that the project is oriented toward a green and smart industrial park model, aiming for carbon neutrality while applying advanced technological solutions in energy management, environmental treatment, and infrastructure operations. This direction aligns with Vietnam’s sustainable development strategy and prevailing international investment trends.
Provincial leaders expressed confidence that Long Duc 3 IP will become an attractive destination for major corporations and strategic investors from both domestic and international markets.

Dong Nai’s leadership reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to support businesses by creating a transparent and open investment environment, stepping up administrative procedure reform, developing integrated infrastructure, and improving the quality of human resources, aiming to provide the best possible support for businesses’ investment, production, and business activities.
At the same time, the province asked the project investor to focus resources on implementing the project on schedule, ensuring quality and safety, and strictly complying with environmental protection regulations. Relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities were also asked to continue close coordination and promptly address any difficulties or obstacles that arise during the project’s implementation.
To date, the Long Duc 3 IP has attracted interest from more than 50 investors. The project is expected to attract around USD3.5 billion in total investment, thereby making significant contributions to industrial growth, job creation, state budget revenue, and the province’s economic restructuring toward a modern and sustainable direction.
