(ĐN)- Foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in Dong Nai province earned nearly US$8.5 billion in turnover in the first 6 months this year, increased over 4.3% over the same period last year, Dong Nai Province's Industrial Zone Authority (DIZA) reported.
Accordingly, the FDI enterprises earned US$4.7 billion in exports, more than US$3.76 billion in domestic consumption and contributed around US$283 million to state budget.
In the first months of the year, the enterprises saw steady growth in production, thus their exports and domestic consumption increased 5%. Many of them who engage in supporting industry have paid attention to the domestic consumption market.
