The figure is estimated at some US$2 billion this year, according to the Dong Nai Department of Statistics.

The province’s exports for the first six months rose 5.3 percent to US$7.42 billion while imports declined slightly to US$6.5 billion.

The department highlighted some major exports during the period, including footwear, garments, wood and wooden products, computer, electronic components, coffee, while key import commodities were machines and raw materials for production.
