(ĐN) – Foreign investors have poured US$490 mln into 42 projects in Dong Nai as of March 18, a year-on-year increase of 300 percent, fulfilling 49 percent of the yearly plan, according to Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment.
Particularly, 21 new projects with US$190.5 million were granted licenses in the period; meanwhile, 21 existing projects were also allowed to increase their capital by US$297.4 million.
Most of the projects are in the fields of support industry, hi-tech and environmentally friendly ones.
Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Singapore are leading investors among 42 countries and territories investing in Dong Nai.
Dong Nai is now home to more than 1,200 valid FDI projects with a combined capital of approximately US$24 billion.
