(ĐN)- A delegation from Jiangsu Province's Trade and Industry Union paid a working visit to Dong Nai on March 9 to survey investment opportunities.
Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of the provincial People’s Committee welcomed the delegation. At the reception, he highlighted the local potentials and strengths that will help Dong Nai to attract more and more foreign investors to the province.
As of March, Chinese investors had invested in 54 projects in Dong Nai, which were capitalized at US$800 million. China is now remaining the province’s biggest import and export market with two-way trade at approximately US$4 billion.
According to Vice Chairwoman of Jiangsu provincial Trade and Industry Union, many enterprises in Jiangsu province are planning to invest in the fields of industry, agriculture and construction. Accordingly, they expressed their wishes that the provincial authorities would introduce new investment policies as well as places.
Jiangsu province covers an area of 100,000 sq.km with the population of 99 million. Its annual import-export turnover reached nearly 5.5 billion Chinese yuan, including more than 3 billion Chinese yuan in export revenue.
