(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that automated observation stations to monitor wastewater will be set up in 5 industrial parks (IPs) by the first quarter this year.
Accordingly, the automated observation stations will be installed in 5 IPs including Nhon Trach 3 in Nhon Trach district, Suoi Tre in Long Khanh town, Long Duc in Long Thanh district, Xuan Loc in Xuan Loc district, and Agtex Long Binh in Bien Hoa city.
The stations will transmit observation data to the province's Department of Natural Resources and Environment, which will help the department identify industrial parks that do not treat their wastewater in according to regulations.
The province is currently one of the few localities in the country that has operating IPs installed concentrated waste water system and automated observation stations to monitor wastewater.
