(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s industrial production index increased nearly 8.6 percent in 2015, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, 16 out of 18 industrial sectors saw increases, led by leather shoes, rubber, wooden handicraft, textile and garment, plastic, wood art, non-metallic mineral, etc. Particularly, the textile and garment reported a year-on-year increase of approximately 10%, leather products up more than 16%.
Two industries saw declines in production value, including tobacco and metal products.
It is estimated that the province’s industrial production index will continue to grow in 2016.
