(ĐN)- Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Phan Thi My Thanh recently had a working session with a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) to discuss matters related to overall planning and plans on development of the paper industry till 2015.
The Provincial Department of Industry and Trade reported that paper industry was one of the key industries in the province and it achieved an annual growth rate of 12.1 per cent on average with the production value of over VND 2.3 trillion in 2010. Particularly, Tan Mai Paper Group Joint Stock Co. has invested in developing the raw material growing area in Vinh Cuu district, covering an area of over 1.3 thousand hectares.
The meeting also discussed on expansion and new projects of Tan Mai Paper Group Joint Stock Co. that will be developed in Dong Nai and other provinces.
Representatives of the province asked the MoIT to consider tax on collection and recycling of waste paper, issue a policy to create favourable conditions for raw material growers and give subsidized loans to paper manufacturers…
