(ĐN)- Over the past six months, Thong Nhat district War Veterans’ Association raised more than VND1.3 billion to provide preferential loans to its members to develop household economics. The association’s members have supported seedlings and breeding animals for poor households, helped each other to develop production.
In this period, Dinh Quan district War Veterans’ Association admitted 92 new members, bringing the number of its members to 2,486. During the last six months, the association mobilized VND103.3 million to offer loans without interest rate for poor members, built and repaired tens of houses totaling over VND200 million to its members and local people. Moreover, its members contributed 598 working days to build and upgrade rural roads.
