Particularly, air-conditioner sales have picked up markedly in the city. Top sellers at electronic appliance stores included air-conditioners and fan varieties, including electric, water-cooling and rechargeable models. Energy efficient appliances have also attracted customers’ attention. Some supermarkets in the city are launching promotion programs to attract shoppers’ attention and encourage the purchase of their products. The prices of some electronic cooling products are forecasted to rise in the middle of the month or the beginning of next month due to growing demand, coupled with higher input costs resulting from inflation.
