Daewon Textile opens its first retail wool store

Daewon Textile Vietnam under Korea-based Daewon Group last week launched its first wool fabric shop at Vincom Center in HCM city.

The retail store provides clients with high quality products made from wool. It displays categories of cashmere and silk, pure wool fabric, washable and easy-care fabric with a total of 700 designs under the brand Pro Cantex.

After opening the first store at Vincom Center, the company plans to open more retail stores in HCM city and Hanoi in the next two years.

Daawon Textile Vietnam was established in Dong Nai province’s Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone in 2002, with a total investment of US$30 million.

Every year, Daewon Textile Vietnam imports sheep wool from Australia, and processes and sells three million meters of wool fabric to well-known wholesalers including the U.S.-based Peerless Clothing International Inc., England’s Marks and Spencer, and Japan’s based trading houses Sumitomo and Mitsui Corporation.
