Dong Nai’s im-export turnovers rise in two months

(ĐN)- According to the report from Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai’s total im-export turnovers over the first two months of 2011 increased by 18.6% and 19.4%, respectively.

(ĐN)- According to the report from Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Nai’s total im-export turnovers over the first two months of 2011 increased by 18.6% and 19.4%, respectively.

 

Particularly, the province reported an export turnover of more than US$1 billion in this first two months, fufilling 13% of the year’s plan and a 18.6% year-on-year rise. The foreign-invested enterprises registered the highest growth at 18.7% on-year, the central enterprises saw the slowest growth at 16.4 per cent.

 

The export commodities of coffee, footwear, food, fabric, electronic components, refined wooden products and cashew nuts saw the highest growth.

 

In first two months, Dong Nai’s import value is estimated at US$1.45 billion, an increase of 19.4% compared to the same period of last year, making up 15% of the yearly target.

 

Particularly, imports from central enterprises increased more than 18%; the local enterprises up 19.6%, and the foreign-invested enterprises up over 19%.

Accordingly, raw materials for production and machines were imported in large quantities.
