The province’s total retail sales of goods and services in April is estimated at nearly VND4 trillion, up 3 percent month-on-month, bringing the figure in four months to more than VND15 trillion, or a 26.7 percent rise compared with the same period last year.
Dong Nai earned US$644.4 million from exports in April alone, increased by 2.4 percent against the previous month, bringing total exports in the first four months to $2.2 billion, fulfilling 31.2 percent of the year’s target, a year-on-year rise of 24.5 percent.
In April, the province registered an import turnover of $835 million, up 2 percent month-on-month, raising total import turnover to nearly $2,877 million in past four months, an increase of 76 percent compared to the same period of 2009.
