(ĐN)- The total retail sales of goods and services in Dong Nai has been growing rapidly over the past years with an annual average increase of around 20 percent.

(ĐN)- The total retail sales of goods and services in Dong Nai has been growing rapidly over the past years with an annual average increase of around 20 percent. In 2009, its retail sales were worth over VND45 trillion, 90 times higher than the figure of 1990.

Big Cs turnover increased VND100 billion in 2007-2009 period

Dong Nai is now home to ten commercial centres and supermarkets with well-known retailers such as Big C, Metro, Coop Mart, Vinatexmart, etc. The figure is expected to be eighty in 2020. Over the past years, Dong Nai-based supermarkets have seen a steady increase in turnover; particularly, Big C and Co.op Mart Bien Hoa’s turnovers increased by VND100 billion and VND130 billion, respectively, in 2007-2009 period.
