The estimated yield of cassava in the two districts is about 35 tonnes per hectare on average. At the current prices, local farmers can earn income of more than VND30 million per hectare from cassava cultivation. As known, local farmers cultivated new varieties of cassava like KM 96-5, KM 98-1, KM 98-2 and KM 140 and they took good care of their crop that resulted in high yield and improved disease resistance,
