Dong Nai’s retail sales rise 20.8% in first eight months

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s retail sales in the first eight months this year went up 20.8 percent over the same period last year to more than VND26 trillion.

The non-state sector registered the highest retail sales growth among other economic sectors. It saw a revenue increase of 23.3 per cent year-on-year to nearly VND22.4 trillion; the foreign-owned sector followed with total retail sales rising by 11.4 percent to approximately VND1.7 trillion, the state-owned sector grew at 4.5 percent to over VND2 trillion.

The increase in the provinces retail sales in this period was attributed to the ongoing positive impacts of the governments timely stimulus package on investment and consumption.
