(ĐN)- According to statistics from Xuan Loc district’s Electricity Company, 42,740 households in the district now have access to electricity, accounting for 97.25 per cent of total households in the district. The district plans that over 98 per cent of households in the district will get access to electricity by 2010. In order to this goal, the electricity sector in the district needs a capital of about VND 18.4 billion to install a 37 km long medium voltage lines, a 52 km long low voltage lines and 37 transformers with a total capacity of over 2,100 KVA in communes of Xuan Dinh, Xuan Hoa, Xuan Hiep, Xuan Tam, Xuan Tho, Xuan Truong, Xuan Hung, Xuan Bac, Xuan Phu and Suoi Cao.
In addition, local electricity sector will install a 130 km long medium voltage lines, a 110 km long low voltage lines and 61 transformers in the district with a total cost of VND 47.6 billion in the 2010-2015 period in order to increase the number of households in the district having access to electricity to 99 per cent.
