(ĐN)- A pomelo cooperative will be established in Tan Binh commune, Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province in the coming time with the chartered capital of over VND 200 million. The cooperative will become the first of its kind in Dong Nai to apply the Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) standards in cultivation. The co-operative will have 22 members and 10ha under pomelo cultivation.
The Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will assist the cooperative members to grow pomelo trees that meet GAP standards for exports. The cooperative is set to get a Global GAP certificate next year.
