(ĐN)- Late last week, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee in coordination with Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs’ Association held a dialogue with domestic enterprises in the province on the Government’s policy of consumption stimulation. Also present at the meeting were Do Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Finance, Dang Hanh Thu, Director of the General Department of Taxation, Dr. Tran Du Lich, Director of the HCM City Economics Research Institute, the provincial leaders and representatives from local agencies.

Representatives of local enterprises asked many questions regarding the Government’s VND17 trillion (US$1 billion) stimulus package. They also worried about beneficiaries who benefit from lending interest rate support provided by the Government.
Deputy Minister of Finance Do Hoang Anh Tuan reassured that the Government would pay 4 per cent of any commercial loans taken out by vital small – and medium-sized businesses excluding businesses that import non-basic goods and those involved in securities and real estate would not be eligible for the preferential policy.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai also promised to urge relevant agencies to create favorable condtions for enterprise to develop.
