Amata IP attracts $1.5 billion in FDI

(ĐN)- From the beginning of the year till now, Amata Industrial Park (IP) attracted 13 foreign investment projects with a combined registered capital of approximately $99.2 million. Accordingly, Japan’s largest cosmetics producer Shiseido has just started the construction of its $38 million factory in Amata IP to meet growing demand for its products in Asia.

Amata IP has so far lured 119 project worth a total of $1.5 billion. The IP is now in its second phase, however it is facing with some difficulties in land clearing and compensation, said General Director of Amata Vietnam Huynh Ngoc Phien.
