(ĐN)- Recently, Thong Nhat district’s Social Policy Bank provided more than VND1.3 billion in loans to nearly 200 poor households and needy students in the communes of Gia Tan 1 and Gia Tan 2. During the period, Dinh Quan district’s Social Policy Bank has made important contributions to poverty reduction work in the local. Accordingly, many poor households and social policy beneficiaries have received preferential loans from the bank for economic development, job creation, improvement of living standards and have gradually escaped from poverty. Moreover, the bank also provided loans to local poor students, who study at universities, college and vocational training school, to help them cover their school fees and living costs.
