(ĐN)- From the beginning of the year until now, the provincial Farmers’ Association has built 35 charity houses and donated nearly VND2 billion to poor farmer households across the province. Besides, the farmers’ association at all levels also played an important role in helping farmers improve living conditions, develop agricultural production and do business.
Over the past nine months, the association mobilized donations from its members to support 27,000 seedlings, 8.4 tones of food and 7,342 breeding animals for nearly 4,000 poor families. The farmers contributed over VND8 billion and more than 24,000 work days to upgrade and build 269 km of rural roads, dredged canals.
