(ĐN)- According to information from the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, there have been a 1028-hectare decrease in land devoted to fruit production including longan, rambutan, orange and mandarin from early this year until now due to increase in agricultural input costs and low output prices. A large decrease in the area under fruit cultivation was recorded in the two districts of Xuan Loc and Dinh Quan. Many local farmers changed to cultivate coffee, pepper, mangoes and high-value crops.
