(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s twenty-seven industrial parks (IPs) lured over $39 million of FDI on October. The figure included $12 million in registered capital from new FDI projects and a combined addition of $27 million from operational projects. In the period, Dong Nai granted licences to 2
new domestic projects worth VND350 billion.
In the first ten months of 2008, Dong Nai attracted more than $1.74 billion of FDI, accounting for approximately 90% of the year’s plan.
Dong Nai is so far home to 799 licensed FDI projects by investors from 33 countries and territories around the world with a total registered capital of more than $11.3 billion and 265 domestic projects capitalized at VND21,825 billion. Seventy-five percent of the projects have been put into operation, generating jobs for more than 300,000 local workers.
