The figure included more than $361 million in registered capital from 44 new FDI projects and a combined addition of $500 million from extended projects. In the period, Dong Nai granted licences to 8 new domestic projects worth VND2,865 billion and expanded projects with additional capital of VND40.5 billion.
So far, Dong Nai’s IPs attracted 785 foreign-invested projects with a total capital of around $10.8 billion and 242 domestic projects capitalized at VND18,827 billion. Of them, 578 FDI projects and 167 domestic projects have been put into operation, provided jobs for more than 307,000 Vietnamese laborers and 5,105 foreigners.
