(ĐN)- A seminar on development of mushroom production industry has just been held by Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Long Khanh town. The seminar attracted the participation of more than 100 farmers and scientists from research institutions, universities. At the seminar, mushroom growers have mentioned some issues relating to capital, technology for mushroom preservation, pestilent insect prevention and consuming market, etc. According to the scientists, Dong Nai is a good place for mushroom planting due to favorable raw materials and experienced farmers.
As known, Dong Nai supplies more than 30,000 tons of fresh mushrooms, including peziza, abalone mushroom, needle mushroom, straw mushroom and ganoderma lucidum, to the market annually.
