The Dong Nai Building and Plastic Joint Stock Co (DNP) has announced the reason for its decline in pre-tax profit in the fourth quarter of 2007.
In the fourth quarter, the company earned a pre-tax profit of VND608 million, 40 per cent lower than in the third quarter.
According to the company, the reasons behind the decline were the escalating price of oil and therefore transportation costs, as well as the increasing price of plastic materials.
