(ĐN)- On Dec.24, a delegation led by Chairman of the National Assembly’s Economic Committee Ha Van Hien paid a working visit to Dong Nai province to find out about the province’s socio-economic development situation and the equitization of state-owned enterprises in Dong Nai. Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot and Deputy Head of the provincial NA representative delegation Truong Van Vo received the delegation.
At the working session, the delegation highly appreciated efforts made by Dong Nai during the past years to speed up economic development, especially in 2007 with growth rate of 15.1 percent, an annual average income per capita of over $1,100; FDI attraction of province reached $2.67 billion; budget collection hit nearly VND10,000 billion; and export turnover of more than VND5.4 billion. Presently, Dong Nai is one of leading provinces in economic development. The Committee pledged to submit its petition to the Government and the Ministries to create favorable conditions for Dong Nai to develop further in the next time.
