(ĐN)- Long Thanh Branch of BIDV has just inaugurated a new transaction office in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone. This is a part of BIDV’s network development plan in Long Thanh, Nhon Trach districts that have a quick growth rate. The office has reached total mobilized capital of VND7.2 billion and loan balance of VND5.5 billion, issued 500 BIDV ATM cards in the first week. More than 50 clients came to the office to open transaction accounts at the same time. Director of Long Thanh Branch of BIDV said that the branch, as a retail bank, will enhance capital mobilization, expand credit investment and provide modern banking services and products in order to better serve the needs of customers.
Established on October, 2006, Long Thanh branch offers the salary payment service via an ATM card. Accordingly, nearly 10,000 BIDV ATM cards have been issued in the past time. Besides, the branch provides individual customers and small and medium enterprises with banking services such as payment guarantee, foreign currency exchange, international payment, international money transfer service, etc. Presently, the branch is striving to achieve the growth target of 20% to 30% for 2007.
