(ĐN)- In the first six months of this year, Dong Nai-based commercial banks and credit organizations lent more than VND28.745 trillion, up 78.5 percent compared with the same period last year. The figure included VND24.293 trillion in short term loans, up 75.5%, and VND4.453 trillion in medium and long term loans, an increase of 96.4%.
Until the end of July, 2007, the banks and credit organizations registered a combined debit balance of nearly VND18.362 trillion, an increase of 11.2% compared to the end of 2006. Of the total, the short-term debt balance was VND12.19 trillion ,up 12.15%, mid and long-term debt balance reached VND6.172 trillion, up 9.5%. Their total outstanding debt balance was VND1.345 trillion, accounted for 7.32% of the total debt while bad debt ratio was 0.76% only.
During the past six months, total mobilized capital of the commercial banks and credit organizations in the province grew fast, of which deposits from individuals increased 22.5%, from economic organizations up 7.53%.
