Dong Nai’s export turnover estimates to reach over $2.41 billion in six months

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export turnover in the first six months of this year is estimated to reach more than $2.416 billion or 44 percent of the year’s plan, 30 percent higher than that of last year.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s export turnover in the first six months of this year is estimated to reach more than $2.416 billion or 44 percent of the year’s plan, 30 percent higher than that of last year. Of the total, exports from foreign-invested enterprises accounted for $2.255 billion, a year-on-year increase of 30.2 percent, the central enterprises earned $43.5 million, up 27 percent; the local enterprises reached over $114 million, a 28.6 percent rise. Some products posted high export turnover such as coffee (31,387 tonnes), cashew nuts (4,350 tonnes), garment and textile ($18 million),  footwear ($13.7 million), refined wood ($12.5 million).  

Dong Nai’s import turnover in the same period showed a stronger increase of 31.5 percent to $2.974 billion. The figure is equivalent to 52.2 percent of the year’s target. The foreign-invested enterprises contributed $2.869 billion of the total, an increase of 32 percent; the central enterprises, more than $32.5 million, a 17.3% increase; and the local enterprises, $45.2 million, up 12.8 percent. The key import products include fertilizer (35,200 tonnes), production raw materials ($14.8 million), raw cashew nut ($5.3 million), cigarette materials ($4.35 million), etc
