Some industries posted high production value such as wood furniture (up 69.6 percent), textile and garment (increase 30-32 percent), footwear (up 26-28 percent), rubber and plastic (20-23 percent), food and beverage (27 percent)
In the first quarter, non-state industrial production value in Dong Nai province also reached VND 1,935 billion, an increase of 20.3 percent compared to the same period of last year.
However, the production value of some industries such as hand-made pottery, refined brick, starch and dried banana, etc has dropped sharply in the past three months because of severe competitiveness on the market.
