
In 1995, An Thinh Phat enterprise established its chicken breeding business and started out with 10,000 parent-birds. It grew to a business of 125,000 fowls in 2003.
In 1995, An Thinh Phat enterprise established its chicken breeding business and started out with 10,000 parent-birds. It grew to a business of 125,000 fowls in 2003. There were three chicken houses sufficient to house 125,000 chickens. Based on the accumulative experience over period of years, the enterprise has been growing healthily since its establishment in 1995 with support from CP Vietnam Livestock Company. Stock raising at the An Thinh Phat farm has developed steadily even in the period when bird flu broke out in the country. The An Thinh Phat chicken farm each year produces about 45,000 meat chickens and 85,000 laying hens. All chickens produced in the An Thinh Phat farm are bought by CP Vietnam Livestock Company.
Mr. Mai Dinh Phon, owner of the An Thinh Phat enterprise said that the small-scale and low productivity with obsolete technologies and equipment caused low competitiveness of products. Although there has been three chicken farms in the communes of An Phuoc and Tam Phuoc (Long Thanh district) Mr. Mai Dinh Phon still decided to invest approximately VND 30 billion to build a large scale modern chicken breeding farm in Tan Hiep commune. The 10 hectares farm with 180,000 chickens is named Tan Hiep Phat. It is equipped with modern equipment, an advanced managerial system and the service of technicians in order to ensure that the breeding of the chickens are of the highest quality, the chickens are healthy and have high resistance to disease. The facilities here are very up to date and the production techniques are of the top class. They have been imported from the Germany-based Big Dutchman, the worldwide leading manufacturer of agricultural feeding machinery and equipment. Besides, CP Vietnam Livestock Company provides capital and technical assistance for Tan Hiep Phat farm.
Tan Hiep Phat chicken farm each year produces 25 million eggs and 2,250 tones of chicken meat from 900,000 chickens. The farm also ensures that its products meet the quality and safety standards of local and overseas markets.
