(ĐN)- Bien Hoa Sugar J.S Company exported 5,000 tones of refined sugar worth more than US$2 million to countries in the region in the first quarter of 2007. This figure is same as the previous year’s figure.
To produce 76,000 tones of refined sugar, the company needs over 78,000 tones of raw sugar. Accordingly, the company’s raw material processing factory in Tay Ninh produced more than 43,000 tones of raw sugar. The rest will be purchased from domestic factories or foreign exporters.
The company is expected to export 15,000 tones of refined sugar this year.
