(ĐN)- Until the beginning of 2007, Nhon Trach district has lured 246 investment projects totaling more than US$3.5 billion. The projects included 151 foreign investment projects with total registered capital of US$2.933 billion and 95 domestic projects with a combined capital of US$574.43 million.

(ĐN)- Until the beginning of 2007, Nhon Trach district has lured 246 investment projects totaling more than US$3.5 billion. The projects included 151 foreign investment projects with total registered capital of US$2.933 billion and 95 domestic projects with a combined capital of US$574.43 million. In 2006, Nhon Trach’s IPs attracted total investment capital of US$ 302.5 million including US$180 million of 33 new projects and US$122.5 million of 21 capital increasing projects. Presently, there are 128 projects operating in the district, providing jobs for 38,000 laborers.
The large projects invested in Nhon Trach’s IPs last year including Shipbuilding Plant under Viet Nam Shipping Industry Corporation, Nhon Trach Thermal Power Plant, Lafarge Cement Vietnam Company (Ong Keo IP) and Eclat Viet Nam Textile Garment Limited Company (Nhon Trach 2 IP).
