Accordingly, the branch’s capital mobilization in 2006 surpassed the yearly plan by 7%, and a year-on-year rise of 45% and the loans increased by 25% while before tax profits fulfilled 109 % of the year’s plan and the proportion of bad debts decreased to 0.27 %.

(ĐN)- Mr. Nguyen Van Ty, Director of the state-run BIDV bank branch in Dong Nai province said that all targets set by the branch for 2006 exceeded. Accordingly, the branch’s capital mobilization in 2006 surpassed the yearly plan by 7%, and a year-on-year rise of 45% and the loans increased by 25% while before tax profits fulfilled 109 % of the year’s plan and the proportion of bad debts decreased to 0.27 %. Besides, the branch has funded a number of major projects in Dong Nai and provided soft loans to enterprises.
Moreover, the branch also offered the no-cost salary payment service through ATM accounts to enterprises over the past year. Thanks to this service, companies employing 1000-2000 workers had a saved cost between 50 million VND and 100 million VND. The branch reported that the number of ATM cards for salary payment service issued by the bank in 2006 were as much as three times higher than in 2005. Due to overloaded capacity, the branch plans to install ATM machines in industrial zones of Ho Nai, Trang Bom and Long Binh.
