Dong Nai’s 10 outstanding entrepreneurs to be nominated for 2006 National Award

(ĐN) – Late last week, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and representatives of provincial relevant agencies and departments held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The meeting aimed to identify criteria for the selection of nominees for the National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurs for the year 2006.

(ĐN) – Late last week, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and representatives of provincial relevant agencies and departments held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). The meeting aimed to identify criteria for the selection of nominees for the National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurs for the year 2006.

According to Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Dong Nai province will submit a list of 10 nominees for the 2006 National Award.

VCCI announced that the 2006 National Award will be presented to 100 outstanding entrepreneurs nationwide in recognition of their achievement and contributions to the country.

According to organizers, the 100 winners will be selected from lists of nominees sent by 64 provinces and cities, ministries and sectors to VCCI.

Businesses and entrepreneurs from all economic sectors which are operating legally in Vietnam, including foreigners which are running Vietnamese entities are subject for consideration.

The 2006 National Award winners must be businesses who run their enterprises effectively and legally and in a sustainable manner. The 2006 National Award winners will be presented with Thanh Giong Cup and will also be entitled to attend APEC conference held in Ha Noi later this year.
