VIB Bank to provide international money transfer service

Recently, the Viet Nam International Bank (VIB Bank) which has branches in Dong Nai has signed an agreement with US-based MoneyGram Company to offer the service in Vietnam, giving its clients access to money transfer services through MoneyGram’s 92,000 agents in 170 countries and territories world-wide. Customers can send money to Vietnam through MoneyGram’s agents and recipients in Vietnam can take money at any VIB Bank branches without needing a bank account.

Co-operation between Viet Nam’s banks and international fund-transfer companies creates an effective channel for overseas Vietnamese and workers employed abroad to send money home, said VIB Bank.
