Dong Nai eyes record in four-month exports

The southern province of Dong Nai posted export turnover of roughly 1.3 billion USD in the first four months of this year. The figure accounted for 33 percent of its target for the year and reflected a yearly increase of 30 percent, according to the provincial trade department.

The foreign-invested sector contributed 1.16 billion USD to the total, growing 32 percent against the same period last year. Dong Nais key export products included black pepper, coffee, wood products, bamboo products, footwear, cashews and honey.

In the same period, the province imported 1.5 billion USD worth of goods, a year-on-year increase of 13 percent.
