Non-state industrial production value up 19% in first four months

(ĐN)- In the first four months of 2006, the non-state industrial production value in Dong Nai province reached VND 2,000 billion, an increase of over 19% compared to the same period of last year. Some industries posted high production value such as cashew nut processing, food and  beverage processing of which, soft drink up more than 8%, draft beer increase 25% and mineral water up about 10% compare to the same period.

However, the production value of some industries has dropped sharply in the past four months because of unstable consumption market such as hand-made pottery dropped to 64%, refined brick, sugar, textile and garment down by 12% against last year.
