Mobilized capital & debit balance in Dong Nai’s credit agencies up 10-12%

(ĐN) - Total capitals of Dong Nais credit agencies including State Commercial Bank, Joint-stock Bank and Credit Co-operative until the end of June this year rose by approx. 12% over the end of 2004 to stand at VND14,281 billion.

This was followed by the mobilized capital of the province grew by 15.2% to hit VND 9,234 billion, it made up 64.4% of total capital and that of the credit agencies increased by 17% to VND 4.648 billion, this accounted for 50% of the local capital mobilization, .

During the period, the amount of contracted loans in the province totaled VND 12,046 billion, up 31.2% over the same period of 2004. Specifically, the short-term loans totaled VND 10,006 billion, up 28.8% and medium-term loans totaling about VND 2,147 billion, rose approximately 52%. Many loan clients were poor people and farmers. About 2,700 poor families were offered loans with total amount of VND17.2 billion and 2,900 farmers with the money of VND278 billion, The loans of these clients presented up 22.5%.

At the same time, the total debit balance of Dong Nai’s credit agencies rose by 10.4% compared with the end of 2004 to hit VND12,758 billion. Of which, benefit of short-term loans were VND7,978 billion and that of medium-term loans of 4,780 billion. The benefits gained up 7.9%.
