(ĐN)- FDI inflows into the province in the first half of this year reached approximately VND 3,067 billion, increased by 16.4 % over the same period last year according to the latest data available. Foreign capitals made up 50% of the total investment in the province, this accounted for nearly 50% of year target. Formosa Vietnam Company contributed most to high growth of FDI in Dong Nai with its total investment amounts to VND 6,815 billion or US$ 431.9 million (including values of imported equipment and construction work). Besides, the large amounts of investment were made by the following foreign invested enterprises namely ChangShin Vietnam limited company with its capital of US$ 5.2 million, Sai Gon steel pipe joint-venture company of US$ 4.5 million, CQS Industry company of US$1.4 million, Hwaseung Vina limited company of US$ 900 thousand and others.
