
(ĐN) – Dong Nai’s export turnover in the first half of the year reached approx. US$ 1.452 billion, up 27.5 per cent against the same period last year, accounted for 10 per cent of the country’s export turnover and 46.7 per cent of the province’s year target.

(ĐN) – Dong Nai’s export turnover in the first half of the year reached approx. US$ 1.452 billion, up 27.5 per cent against the same period last year, accounted for 10 per cent of the country’s export turnover and 46.7 per cent of the province’s year target. Major exports including garment, rubber, pisciculture and acqua-farming, agriculture machinery from Central enterprises were valued at US$ 23.3 million, this was an increase of 19.4% compared with last year. Turnover export of foreign invested enterprises with their products of electronics, textile fabrics, foodstuff, leather footwear and machinery stood at US$ 1.340 billion, increased by 28.8 per cent against the same year. Exports of the local enterprises valued at US$ 88.8 million, rose by 12.1 per cent in comparison with last year. The value of exports of the local industrial products and agricultural processing increased significantly which included coffee of 27.5 per cent, honey of 63.9 per cent, footwear of 80.3 per cent, and clothing of 9 per cent and wood processing of 6.7 per cent. The export value of the traditional hand crafted pottery, however, dropped by 3 per cent against the same period last year due to high price of materials and unstable consumption.
