Another USD 45.869 millions invested in Dong Nai Industrial Zones for 1 month

(ĐN)- During a month from April 15 to May 15, 05, there have been another 14 new projects to be invested by investors from Korea, Japan, Brunei, America, France, Taiwan and being joint venture between Singapore and the Great Britain.

(ĐN)- During a month from April 15 to May 15, 05, there have been another 14 new projects to be invested by investors from Korea, Japan, Brunei, America, France, Taiwan and being joint venture between Singapore and the Great Britain. These projects have been granted investment licenses by Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA). In which, 3 projects were placed in An Phuoc Industrial Zone, 3 projects in Amata Industrial Estate and the other ones in Nhon Trach Industrial Zone No.1 and No.2, Ho Nai and Long Thanh Industrial Zones with 2 projects every place. The total foreign direct investment (FDI) capital of these projects reached up USD 21.91 millions. Among the new projects were a project with its total investment capital of USD 7 millions to be invested in Nhon Trach Industrial Zone No.2 by Bruneian investor. At the same time, another 10 projects have been asked permission of the authorities about increasing their invested capitals with added USD 23.96 millions. These included USD 11.5 millions to be invested in expansion by Vietnam Mitsuba M-Tech Company Ltd. and another USD 5 millions from Vietnam Muto Company Ltd.

From the beginning of 2005 up to now, Dong Nai has attracted additional investment capital nearly USD 301.41 millions in which included 47 new projects capitalised at USD 125.38 millions and 37 the existing projects with their added investment capital up USD 176.027 millions. Generally, Dong Nai has 689 projects to be invested by investors from 26 countries, territories over the world and other regions in the country with their registered investment capital up USD 6.970 billions. The province has 530 FDI projects with their registered investment capital up USD 6.574 billions. Among these FDI projects were 473 projects that have come into operation with their total invested capital made up 81% of their registered ones.
