Pham Minh Thanh, Director of Dong Nai Social Security, said that from now until the end of 2026, the entire Dong Nai social security sector is committed to implementing coordinated measures to meet or exceed its set targets.

Specifically, the sector aims to enroll nearly 1.2 million people in compulsory social insurance, more than 79,300 in voluntary social insurance, nearly 4.3 million in health insurance, and over 1.1 million in unemployment insurance.

To help meet these targets, Tran Ngoc Nam, Director of the Tan Phu Social Security Office, said the unit assigns specific targets to each staff member, closely monitors developments in its assigned areas and works with local authorities, socio-political organizations and networks of collaborators to identify groups of potential participants. Based on these efforts, the unit carries out targeted communication activities to help residents better understand the benefits of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance and actively enroll in these programs.

According to Tran Ngoc Nam, sustainably expanding insurance coverage requires not only attracting new participants but also retaining existing ones, particularly by ensuring the continuous validity of health insurance cards. For freelance workers, farmers, and people with unstable incomes, providing comprehensive, accessible information and dedicated guidance will help them assess the long-term benefits and proactively select suitable insurance participation plans.
