Applications for over 1,500 social housing units in Phuoc An Commune to be accepted from November

On October 27, a representative of Water Electrical Mechanical Installation and Construction Joint Stock Company announced that applications to purchase apartments at the 2.1-hectare Social Housing Apartment Complex Project in Phuoc An Commune are expected to be accepted starting in November 2026.

According to the company’s representative, the project is located on plot CC3 in Phuoc An Commune and comprises two 12-story apartment buildings with a total construction floor area of more than 100,000 square meters. The project will provide 1,547 apartments, ranging in size from approximately 29 to 70 square meters. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2028.

The average selling price has been announced at more than VND 21 million per square meter of net usable floor area, including value-added tax (VAT) but excluding maintenance fees and property management operating expenses.

Residents wishing to purchase social housing units may submit their application dossiers at locations announced by the company. The application period is expected to begin in November 2026. Eligibility criteria for prospective buyers and the required application documents will be governed by laws on social housing and regulations issued by the Dong Nai City People's Committee.

Under Government Resolution No. 303/NQ-CP dated September 30, 2026, Dong Nai City was assigned a target of developing more than 60,000 housing units during 2026–2030. The annual completion targets are 2,000 units in 2026, 3,000 units in 2027, 5,000 units in 2028, 10,000 units in 2029, and more than 40,000 units in 2030.
