Two “Great Solidarity” houses presented to disadvantaged ethnic minority households

As part of the "Mass mobilization among ethnic minority communities" program, on September 20, a delegation from the Dong Nai City Military Command, led by Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong, Member of the City Party Committee and Political Commissar of the City Military Command, in coordination with the Dong Nai Youth Union, authorities of Bu Gia Map Commune, and various sponsors and benefactors, held a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over two “Great Solidarity” houses to disadvantaged ethnic minority households in Bu Gia Map Commune.

The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nam, former Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City High Command and former Commander of the Dong Nai Military Command; Colonel Huynh Cong Toi, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the City Military Command; and other delegates.

During the program, the delegation attended the ceremony to inaugurate and hand over two “Great Solidarity” houses to both households of Dieu Ben and Thi Dac, thereby helping them secure stable housing, settle down, and stabilize their lives.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Phong, Member of the City Party Committee and Political Commissar of the City Military Command, said, "The inauguration and handover of houses to disadvantaged ethnic minority households not only provide them with stable housing but also help strengthen military-civilian relations, especially the close-knit bonds between the armed forces and ethnic minority communities. This is one of the practical activities in the run-up to the 96th anniversary of the Party's Mass Mobilization Tradition Day (October 15, 1930–2026) and in celebration of major commemorative events in 2026."
