Groundbreaking ceremonies held for two "October 15 Houses"

In the run-up to the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation (October 15, 1956–2026), the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai City, in coordination with the Dong Nai City Youth Union (DNYU), held groundbreaking ceremonies on September 29 for two "October 15 Houses" in Ta Lai Commune and Xuan Loc Ward. VND70 million in financial support will be provided for each house.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai City and the DNYU broke ground on an "October 15 House" for the family of Nguyen Van Tuong in Hamlet 2, Ta Lai Commune. Tuong's family is facing housing difficulties. He is elderly and lives with his daughter in a dilapidated temporary house, while his daughter makes a living from small-scale trading and earns an unstable income.

In Xuan Loc Ward, the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai City and the DNYU broke ground on an "October 15 House" for the family of Tran Luu Phi Hung, Secretary of the Tho Chanh Quarter Youth Union in Xuan Loc Ward. Hung's family currently has no stable housing and has to rent a home, while their living conditions remain difficult.

Once completed, the projects will help the families improve their housing conditions, gradually stabilize their lives, and work with greater peace of mind to improve their livelihoods. At the same time, the projects will spread the spirit of solidarity and mutual support while helping mobilize resources to support young people and citizens in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Youth Federation of Dong Nai City and the DNYU also presented 50 million VND to support the Ta Lai Commune government in purchasing equipment for hamlet-level operations. They also inaugurated two solar-powered lighting route projects in the Tho Loc and Tho Chanh quarters of Xuan Loc Ward.
